Update 9/23/08: Check out Bruno's new photos! He's gorgeous with those soulful eyes that will melt anyone's heart. Bruno is Mr. Charming of the litter. With the exception of people who picked out a puppy already by their pictures. All the visitors that visit his foster home immediately picked Bruno as their favorite. Very cuddly and LOVABLE..but full of puppy play and mischief. He can charm the pants right off you! He is intelligent to boot!! Won't you be the lucky home that gets the best of the bunch?
This litter of puppies belong to Isy! Isy is a mix of some sort, probably a Bearded Collie..she likes to herd , she is about 40 pounds, sweet as can be and a personality that melts the hearts of everyone she meets! She has passed down this personality to all of her puppies!!
Isy has med/longish length fur, kind of wiry in places, soft in others. She is a multi colored "Benji" kind of dog, a few of the puppies look like they will take after her with different color patterns, but we CANNOT TELL what they will look like or how big they will get. OR if they will shed. Mom does not shed, but the dad was a short hair that sheds. Most likely the puppies will shed. DO NOT APPLY if you are looking for a non-shedding dog.
These pups were all born on 6/7/08 and ready to start looking for their very own homes. They have had 2 sets of puppy shots and are still very small and very young. They will still be up all hours of the night and need to go out multiple times a day. A flexible schedule is a must.
The puppies are 10-15lbs right now, and will mature to be med-large dogs we think. Mom is a larger medium and Dad was a "lab type" dog. Both parents are of mixed lineage and we do not know what they were. Isy was rescued with 7 puppies when they were only 1 day old from a local abuse situation. (She is not from the south, like many of our dogs)
Puppies are too young to be spayed/neutered and will require a 100.00 spay/neuter deposit on top of the 250.00 adoption fee.
Stable, dedicated, homes needed for active puppies that will be puppies for another 10 months. (Think chewing everything in sight for all 10 months and another few months before fully housetrained!) Kids under 5 will not be a good fit for puppies this young, nor will renters without a 5 year rental history with references.
