Bruiser is a 4 year old Belgium Shepherd mix whose owner was no longer able to keep him. He has been staying with one of our kind volunteers and she reports that he is doing great. He is good with other dogs, and doesn't mind older children. He is housebroken and kennel trained. He loves to walk on his leash, and doesn't feel the need to drag his walker down the block. He currently is a heartworm positive dog, but he will be going through heartworm treatment soon. If you feel you could open your heart to such a handsome boy please email us at [email protected].
Bruiser is in foster care, so you must make an appointment to meet him.
The shelter is open to the public from 3 - 7 pm seven days a week. Dog adoption fees are $150 per dog and cats are $75 to $100 per cat. These fees help us with cost of spay / neuter, shots, microchips, HW treatment if necessary, other medical expenses and food.
