Brownie, a happy 6-year-old Lab mix, came to Bideawee several months ago from AC&C. His home was engulfed by a fire so he ended up at the Manhattan AC&C because his owner became homeless. He is a very big boy at 110 pounds and he is a confident & bossy dog yet a gentle giant.
He lumbers toward you with a slow wagging tail. He makes a great ottoman and actually thinks its fun when you utilize his enormous size as furniture!!!
He had a hard time being in the kennel at the AC&C--he felt trapped and confused in all the chaos. In fact, although we have not had any trouble with him here, I can see him getting restless and would hate to see him become a “lifer” here. He would blossom with intimate interaction and true place to call home. For good this time. Brownie deserves the love, affection, and stability of a real home.
