Hi there, I'm Radar a people-loving young guy (one year old to be exact) looking for a forever home where I can run, play and be my silly Lab self! I love, LOVE playing with other dogs; a brother or sister who's into playing as much as I am would be perfect for me. Hanging out with you to play fetch or with rope toys is at the top of my favorites list too!
So before you hop in the car and come to take all 65 pounds of me home, bet you'd like to know a little about me besides the fact I'm the picture of fun on four paws and my foster mom thinks I'm beautiful. I'm house trained, crate trained, know my name, can sit, a Gentle Leader is best for our walks and I'm a very good boy on car rides.
In all modesty, my fetching skills, love of people big and small, focus and intelligence caught the eye of an organization that trains service dogs. I was invited for a "try out". But lucky for you they said that since I was such a youngster, I tend to get the sillies and want to goof around too much for serious work and would be happier as your playful pet pooch. I totally agree I'm probably more cut out to be a playmate than a worker!
I'm a boy who appreciates leadership, truly enjoys learning new things and needs my daily exercise. Being exhausted and sleeping like a log feels great. I'm an athletic guy who can pop over a four foot fence, so a six footer will be best for us.
I'm always happy and am "the glass is half full” kind of guy! Hope you'll come play with me soon!
