My Story

Adoptable Brownie! Brownie is still a puppy but has had a rough start to life. She was in the shelter where she was adopted as a young puppy, but sadly returned when her "family" decided she wasn't a good fit for them anymore. Brownie was taken back to the shelter and was heartbroken and confused. Brownie is approximately 6-7 months old, and around 25 pounds. She will likely stay under 40 pounds when full grown. She looks like a rottweiler mix, but we have no idea what she is.  Brownie has been doing really well in her foster home. She is currently fostered with a large male dog and enjoys playing with him. She is still pretty playful and can be mouthy, so any dogs in her future home will need to be okay with her playfulness. She may not be a great fit for kids who don't understand not to encourage mouthiness. Brownie is crate trained and potty trained. She is used to walking on a leash for potty time and does well on her leash walks. She does occasionally whine/bark when crated if she feels like she's missing out on the fun with her people. Brownie is very smart and is very well behaved for her age. She would thrive with adopters who continue with her puppy training and provide her with lots of love and attention! Brownie is fully vaccinated, up to date on prevention, microchipped, and spayed.
