My Story

This beautiful dog must have had a good home, because he is calm and very well mannered. In spite of the noise of the other dogs, he came quietly, sat still for photos, and then went back into the kennel without a fuss. He wags his tail when you approach but does not bark or jump on the kennel door. Rather, just gives you an expectant look as if expecting to be taken for a walk or a ride in the car.

Has the typical very long ears and long legs of a coon hound, and is quite thin right now. His coat appears black from a distance, but it is a very dark brown.

Shelter staff report he is good with dogs, cats and children. Already neutered and ready to go to your home to be a well mannered companion. Posted Feb. 22, 2006. Update March 10, 27. Adoption posted April 1, 2006.
