Brosnan is a precious Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix currently residing at the shelter. Brosnan is estimated to be 1 year of age and weighs35 lbs. Brosnan came to us after his owners moved away and deserted him. He was standing on the side of US 23 in Lawrence County, watching and waiting for his family to return, which of course, they never did. A neighbor called the shelter and alerted us to his situation and he is now safe and warm at the shelter. Brosnan is a very sweet, affetionate boy and it is really hard to understand why he would be treated so nonchalantly and so harsh, especially in the dead of winter with frigid temperatures. Brosnan is great with other dogs at the shelter and has shown little interest in the resident shelter cats. Brosnan would be excellent with children as well as he is not high strung and has a more laid back personality, which is unusual for this combination of breeds.
