Three year old Brooke is as gentle as her name suggests. Our newest chocolate sweetheart is a people loving, perfect 60 pounds.

Brooke has completely stolen her foster mom's heart: "Brooke is the easiest dog I've ever had. Although she doesn't know anything about toys and balls, she is so gentle and affectionate." She's a girl who loves to lean in for some loving or put her head in your lap for some petting. Brooke would be delighted to be a lap dog if she could fit! By your side is her very favorite place.

Brooke is housetrained and fine in a crate when you're out and about on errands. She knows sit, shake and stay. A smart girl, she's also looks to please. Brooke is good with other dogs and is rather submissive overall. She's met some cats and wasn't much interested in their feline ways.

Gentle, affectionate, quiet and delightfully easy to be around, Brooke is a truly lovely young lady with a soft and sensitive heart of gold.
