UPDATE: this fella is all better and ready for adoption his hair has returned and he looks like a new dog. we however do not think chihuahua anymore, this little thing was teenie and only a few weeks old when we got him, he is now about 8 weeks old, and doing great, he will probably be a med size dog as an adult. His foster mom has almost got him housetrained as well, so this would make a great puppy for someone. This teenie little baby was found out in the woods, he has bald patches all over him, and pus nodules that come up and go away. The vet said a medicated shampoo and good food may help, if not further tests will be needed. We are not sure really what it is, and not sure if abuse was involed either and has not been ruled out. All of our dogs receive extra love and attention. They are tested for Heartworms, vaccinated, spay/neutered, microchipped and Revolution flea/tick applied prior to adoption. We REQUIRE an approved application including vet reference for adoption and a home visit in some circumstances. Each dog will be placed in a home that is appropriate for that dog and we reserve the right to deny adoption for any reason.
