My Story
Meet Brody Boy. He exudes charm and beauty, yet his journey is heart-wrenching.
Approximately a year ago, Brody found himself in a kill shelter. He was fostered from the shelter and swiftly adopted by his then foster parent due to his remarkable nature. Fast forward to the present, he was discovered several blocks away from his home and posted on a lost and found site. Sadly, his adopter has relinquished him. Though the finders provided him with love and safety for several days, their household is already full.
The situation is undeniably distressing, but Brody's resilience shines through. He eagerly hopped into the car and showered his foster mom with affection and kisses. Determined to rewrite his narrative, we are committed to finding him the ideal forever home—a family who will cherish him like he deserves to be.
Brody, at ~2½ years old, is a Labrador mix (best guess). He currently weighs ~70 pounds but could benefit from losing a few lbs. He's up-to-date on vetting, microchipped, neutered, and heartworm negative. Additionally, he's crate and house trained, and walks well on a leash. He displays impeccable manners, taking treats delicately, and is friendly with kids, dogs, and adults alike.
Despite his tumultuous past, Brody remains an outstanding companion, deserving of a loving family. Could you be the one to offer him the forever home he really needs? Submit your application today to meet this incredibly sweet boy.

**Please do not use the "Introduce Yourself" feature. The information needed to determine if you might be a match for one of our animals can only be found on our application. An inquiry, question, or introduction through Petfinder is NOT an application. All known details about our animals are posted on their profile and updated daily. Other info would be discussed in detail with the foster during the application review process. Due to the number of introductions/questions received (hundreds daily) we ask you submit an application on our website (that application can be used for any dog with Take Paws Rescue).
The adoption fee for adult dogs covers age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter if not yet performed, heartworm test & appropriate heartworm treatment by the rescue's vet. All dogs in our care are also kept up-to-date on HW/Flea Prevention. Please see our website for more information.
