My Story

8 Great Pyrenees/Golden Retriever pups born during the night & next morning (Jul 31/Aug 1, '09) after their Great Pyrenees mother was abandoned at this rescue's front gate. 7 boys, 1 girl. Colors range from gold w/white trim to all white. Coats are wavy/fuzzy/straight, & long/medium/short. Weights between 45-55 lbs at 15 weeks. They will be large adult dogs & basic obedience training with new family is highly recommended. As near perfect as one could hope for, photos do not do them justice. They are adorable, social, have learned pack manners & are in perfect health. Pups have had all vet work done & are ready to go. For more detailed descriptions go to: http://WWW.nationalpyr.org/rescue_dogs.php & look up pups' name. Preference given to experienced large breed puppy families, & homes with companion dogs (opposite sex preferred). Pups will not be adopted into homes to be left alone all day in crate. Adopted as indoor companions w/outdoor privileges. Preference given to retired, or at least 1 stay at home adult. Discount given to qualified adopter who adopts 2 (or more) of these beautiful fur kids. Traditional above ground fencing, veterinary reference, home visit, & adoption contract required to adopt these beautiful pups. Adoption fee is $300, plus transport fee of $150 to northeastern US. First thing to do is fill out pre-adoption application at: http://www.nationalpyr.org/adoption_form_gateway.php
