Just before Christmas our boys arrived home with another young child and a lab puppy in tow. Our boys had found the other boy with the puppy. The other boy claimed that the dog was a stray, and he was trying to locate the owner. However, as my wife and I have lived in the neighborhood for some time (and the dog seems familiar), it seems more likely that the dog belonged to the child, and he was told that he could not keep it. Our boys, being the animal lovers they are, took the story hook, line, and sinker, bringing the puppy home, knowing that mom and dad would keep him healthy and happy until he found a forever home. As of yet, no one has claimed him, and we have gone to great lengths to attempt to find his owner. We find it hard to believe that someone went to the trouble of having this guy neutered & feeding him to the fact where he was overweight when he came to us.
However, the time has come to find this wonderful boy a new forever home. He loves to play and is quite energetic. Hes good with all of our other dogs (all six of themplus puppies); hes great with cats; and he simply loves people. He celebrated Christmas with us and had a fantastic time. He loves stuffed animals, Nylabones, and tennis balls (all of which he got for Christmas).
Hes primarily black lab, and you can see it instantly in his soulful brown eyes. He needs a home where he is going to get tons of love and affection. The more playmates, the better. And he needs to be lavished in toys galore. Call Vivienne at 615-943-7311 or
