Bricks

Kids - adult home only, can be grabby and mouthy Cats - no Dogs - would do best as the only dog Special Needs - possible skin issues March 2024 - Mr. Bricks is still here waiting for his family to come. We think that he'd be best suited to an adult only home as he can get a bit grabby and would happily help himself to kids toys. He's worked really hard on walking well on leash and does great most days. Bricks can get a bit overexcited on walks when he sees other dogs, but it's a work in progress! Bricks is a big boy who looks far too serious in his pictures as he truly is a big goof who just wants to be with people. Bricks is likely around 5+ years old and arrived as a stray so we don't have any history on him. We'd love to see Bricks in a fairly experienced home, and bully breed experience would be an asset. Bricks has a ton of energy and is always raring to go! He'd love a home that will keep him physically active, and challenge his brain with fun games. Bricks had some red skin when he first arrived and it seems to have settled down, so it could have been something in his previous living enviroment. We have him on a fish based food which could also help, but anyone interested should be aware that those issues could flare. Bricks has been out on a few walks and does well, but must wear a harness or he pulls like a freight train! He's met a few dogs in passing and gets very excited but hasn't met any dogs off leash just yet. Bricks would do well to work on some of his leash skills and is a smart guy and would be a quick learner. On his walks he's very scent oriented and we would recommend his new family check out Nosework as a fun activity to keep him busy.
