Briar Rose is a very sweet little girl who has had a rough time lately. Her owner passed away and the family didn't have a place for her so she was alone for a period of time before a kindly neighbor took her in.
Briar Rose would prefer to have a less active household than the young Jack Russels that she lives with now. She is still experiencing separation anxiety, and when she gets left alone, tends to chew at her fur. So we believe that a quieter home, with someone there most of the time would be the ideal situation. Anti-itch sprays and medicated shampoo baths help the skin condition, but we believe that a calmer atmosphere would be best.
Briar is not particularly cuddly, but would like to lie next to you on the couch and wants to sleep under the bed and be in the room where you are. We believe that these behaviors may continue to moderate with a restive atmosphere. Briar's adoption fee will be $200.
