My Story

We had to give this brave wee boy a big strong name to grow into—what better than a good Irish name?  Brennan is about 2 months old and weighs 9 pounds. Some young boys discovered him in the long grass near the Cartierville Bridge —they chanced to hear his pitiful cries and went to investigate, thus finding this wee pup. We don’t know how long he was there but we do know we got him just in time, and are very grateful to the boys who saved him. Someone had put him there, why, we will never know, but his angels were with him that day! Brennan was emergency vetted and had a bit of gastro but it is not Parvo—we had 2 tests done to be sure. Turned out his problem was just parasites which have been cleared by the vet. Brennan appears to be a maybe German Shepherd/Boxer mix but really he is just a long legged mutt with a very sweet, interested and curious face! The bandage in the picture is to hold steady his IV rehydrating fluid, which he needed when first brought in. His neuter at the proper age and his puppy vaccines, deworming, will be included in his adoption fee. Brennan says “Kiss me, I’m Irish!” And he will kiss you right back!
