Breezy has found her forever home with Marianne F. in Franklin, MA
UPDATE 5/31: Breezy is being fostered in Sagamore, MA so please apply for her now!
Meet Breezy!!! She is a 15 week old Jack Russel Terrier or rat terrier mix who was found in a ditch along with 4 other litter mates by some power line workers after a storm. All the pups were treated with antibiotics for sarcoptic mange an are doing great... The areas where their hair has grown back looks FANTASTIC!! Breezy is described as a "free spirit" as this is where she got her name. Nothing seems to bother her and she does her own thing. Breezy has normal puppy energy and loves to run outside, play with squeaky toys, chewies and running through the water. She has been tested with children as young as 3 & as old as 16 and does just fine. She has normal curiosity towards cats and at this age will learn to live with one and know it's a family member :) Breezy knows her basic commands, is crate trained and nearly completely house trained at this point. She is laid back and submissive and has not been doing any puppy nipping, living with a 3 yr old in her foster home who can open her mouth, check inside her ears, and hold her paws, and she just gives him sweet puppy kisses. If this sweet girl is right for your home please apply for her today! Her adoption fee is $425.
Please complete an
online APPLICATION if you wish to adopt. Forever Home Rescue New England is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. THERE IS NO SPECIFIC SHELTER LOCATION. If you wish to meet our dogs, you must first be approved by going through our application and screening process.
Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Also, any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the south and will prefer to "do their business" outdoors.
