My Story

Braxton is a male Black and Tan Shepherd mix who is estimated at 9 mths of age. Braxton was left tied to the front gate of the shelter during a period of extreme heat. The person or persons who left him at the shelter gate was nice enough to leave him with a bucket of water which is more than most of them get when they are callously dumped at the gate. We are hoping the Braxton was left at the gate by a good samaritan who found him and he actually has a family looking for him. Why Braxton was abandoned is hard to understand as this is one of the most gentle, obedient and well-behaved dogs to be left at the shelter. He has the beautiful black/tan markings of the German Shepherd and strongly resembles a GSD except for his smaller size and hang down ears. He has deep soulful brown eyes that beg for love when you look at him and he can't give you enough kisses! Braxton is the ideal pet for any type of family...single, married with children, young or old. He is gentle enough and well-mannered enough that he would fit in anywhere! Braxton is medium in build, weighing around 40 lbs or so. For more info on this fabulous boy, email or call Kim Perry at (606) 638-0512. Call for a quicker response.
