A month ago, Brady was adopted into a family with children 7& 8, and he at first seemed a little afraid of the children. Although by nature a submissive pup, he has twice jumped at the 7 yr old boy or his friends, especially if they were playing vigorously or wrestling, so he has come back to rescue. He had been used to vigorous play with his littermates and we think he was just trying to play with the boys. Either that, or he felt alarmed by the children. Not sure. He is a great little pup and should be fine in a dog-experienced family, with children older than 10 or 12. He generally is fairly laid back and when the family is relaxing he just goes to his dog bed and lies down. He knows 'sit' and 'stay' and 'come.' He is good in the car. Brady is now 7 months old and weighs 26 pounds. He likely will not exceed 35 pounds or so full grown. He is housetrained. He LOVES other dogs and has normal curiosity around cats. Adoption fee $375

We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. THERE IS NO SPECIFIC SHELTER LOCATION. If you wish to meet our dogs, you must first be approved by going through our application and screening process.

Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Also, any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the south and will prefer to "do their business" outdoors.
