Boz is a Walker Coonhound who is estimated at 9 mths of age. Boz came to the shelter after he was found running along busy US 23 in Lawrence County. Other than being a little on the thin side, Boz is in good shape. And he is a very handsome boy. If you have never had a hound in your life for companionship, you don't know what you are missing. Contrary to belief in this area, hounds are wonderful companion dogs and they are not only for hunting and breeding. They are usually great with other dogs with their loving, clown-like behavior and they live for the love of humans. They make excellent family pets. And Boz is no exception. And if you think all hounds are big barkers, think again. This boy is not a constant barker. He is a fabulous boy, inside and out, and someone will be lucky to have him as part of the family.
