My Story

You'd never guess that Boots is 12 years old nor that he had hip surgery a year ago after being in a car accident that ultimately took the life of his owner. He doesn't even limp on rainy days!! What a gentleman he is still standing so proud and tall with his ears erect and his little stubby tail going back and forth at a furious rate. He truly characterizes the title given to Bostons of "The American Gentleman". Many people look for younger dogs to adopt but this wonderful senior Boston has the grace, charm and endearment that only time can bestow on him and he would be so very happy to share his life and experience with someone who can appreciate all those qualities and all the love he still has to give. He will readily accept another canine companion or even a feline one for that matter. He still needs moderate exercise every day but not rowdy play or extensive running. Boots is neutered, heartworm free, and current on vaccinations. He is completely house trained (what gentleman wouldn't be?), crate trained, and walks on a lead as if he were in a show ring. He would be the ideal senior companion where he could receive and give that very special love that only a person and dog can share. If Boots may be a good candidate to fit into your very special family needs please contact Esther Brisendine, Dupee Boston Rescue at [email protected] or call 210-497-3979.
