5 - 6 year old Boots is very timid and shy. His puppyhood was so traumatic that he still bears some of the emotional scars and we don't know that he will ever be entirely "normal". After being chained outside, this poor dog endured having fire crackers thrown at him by his first owners. Needless to say, this poor sweet soul (that does not have an aggressive bone in his body) is afraid of a lot of things that we take for granted.
