Boomerang, affectionately known to us as Boomer, is a 1 year old Schnauzer mix. He appears to have the non-shedding fur but not the coat that is needed for folks who have allergies. So if you prefer non-shedding but don't have allergies, he's a good option. Boomer gets along great with other dogs and with his charming personality which is sweet and affectionate he is an option for kids. Boomer would be fine in a home with dog savvy cats but if they are skittish or have tendencies to run, then he is not an option.
Boomer was originally adopted from the shelter by a family that had allergies but couldn't keep him because he doesn't have the right coat. We were called and asked if we'd take this handsome boy into our rescue. We gladly agreed. Boomer gets along with everyone and is just such a fun spirited little dog who would be great to go to the dog park, to the school to pick up the kids, to the soccer field or wherever friendly dogs are wanted, because he's definitely friendly!
