My Story

Pure Love Cuddlebug Looking for Her Forever Home Cuddly, playful, silly, eager to please, and, as you can see, movie-star cute, Boo is looking for a committed family to call her own. Do you long for an ace cuddlebug of a dog who just wants to meld with you? Do you, your kids, or your other dogs love to play tug, fetch, or chase for extended sessions? Better yet: are you looking for a running or hiking partner? Have you been longing to be a pack leader, ready to work with an eager-to-please and treat-motivated young pup who is learning to “leave it” when she wants to chase a chicken or cat or to jump on anyone who walks through the door? Are you searching for a car-ride and errand-friendly pup who loves going with you to Tractor Supply and Lowe’s? Look no further! Boo is pure love towards animals and people, ready to win over your friends and family. And she is motivated to learn! She loves to be by her foster person’s side, getting snuggles, learning new skills, and playing with and wearing out her foster’s pets—especially the Queensland Heeler and the dog-friendly cat. This sweetheart of a pup was abandoned by her original person when he moved. She was being fed by someone else but left to roam the streets of Planada alone. Her soon-to-be foster came across her and tried to get her out of the street, but as she approached, Boo rolled over in the middle of the road for pets. The vet says Boo is a little over a year old—the perfect age to find her forever home! She definitely still has that puppy energy and needs some guidance on the difference between toys and non-toys. However, Boo has proved herself a quick learner, especially when treats are involved, and will be easy to fully train. She sits, lies down, and waits at mealtime for the signal to eat her food. She is also responsive to directions to let the older dogs rest even when she still wants to play. At night, when there isn’t a human to watch her, her current foster puts her in her kennel, where she is content to sleep. Boo just wants everyone to be her friend. Will you be her friend, her best friend? If so, she will repay you in pure puppy love and gratitude.
