Bolt is a volunteer favorite with his adorable face, beautiful fur or just his overall happy demeanor. Bolt is friendly with other dogs and is overall a very mellow dog. He likes to go for walks and explore or is just as happy to lay by your side and get brushed (he will probably just fall asleep since he enjoys that so much). Bolt is about 49 pounds, but his beautiful fur does make him look bigger.
Bolt had an incident in a previous home where he bit someone while they were trying to take a piece of trash that he found on the ground away from him. Although he has never shown and resource guarding behavior to the trainer or volunteers, we still think it's important for his potential adopter to understand this. They will need to be cautious if he does find something that he considers a "treasure". Since children might not understand this, we would also recommend Bolt goes to a home where there aren't kids.
