BODINE. Bodine was surrendered to animal control because the owners were moving to a place that didn't allow any pets. He is 3 years old and a handsome fellow. It appears that whoever owned Bodine before let him do whatever he wanted when he wanted, but now with IDR he is learning rules. He knows some obedience commands and is doing well with following the new ones he is learning. When Bodine arrived he showed some leash aggression issues toward other dogs which he no longer shows. He is great with the other large dogs in the home, but does appear way too focused on the small ones. He does have a tendency to pace in the home, but understands to go and lay down. He cannot be in a kennel setting as he paces too much and will lose weight. Now that he is in a foster home, we are trying to get that weight back on him so he is looking good for his new home. He loves everyone he meets and loves pets and snuggles. He does not get along with cats. Email Pam at [email protected].
