Bodie

Hello Friends,

My name is Bodie (also known as Bodie the Bodacious at my foster home). I am a charming, elderly gentleman (14 years and counting). I have had quite an exciting life. I was once a show dog and boy could I strut around that ring. If you take a look at my pictures you can certainly tell as I am still very handsome.

I was owned and loved by a really nice lady in Connecticut where I had the company of lots of other pugs. Sadly my owner passed away and thankfully she made arrangements for me to go to Pug Rescue if anything ever happened to her.

I’ve been in rescue since May 2007 and although I’ve grown accustomed and content with my foster family I sure would like a home of my own. I don’t see or hear very well but other than that I am healthy. And, despite my vision problems I have learned to navigate the stairs to the backyard at my foster home and get around their house just fine. Sometimes if I’m feeling a little lost and lonely I just walk around until I find my foster mom or dad or one of my pug pals. My foster mom always picks me up for a nice cuddle as soon as I find her. But, I prefer my foster dad because he gives me a pat, and even better, a nice biscuit.

My favorite time of the day is, (yup you guessed it), DINNER TIME! I will let you know when I am hungry or need to go outside. The rest of the time I enjoy leisurely snoozes, belly rubs, and several times a day I will want to wiggle all over the place and give you kisses while you give me a massage and then of course a treat.
