BODE is a 2 year old, 6 pound Long Haired Chihuahua. In spite of having lived through an unfortunate act of cruelty, BODE is a loving little fellow who loves attention and deserves a loving home to give him the best life ever. BODE was not neutered prior to coming into rescue so he is now learning about housetraining with his foster mom at home with him during the day. He will need an understanding new owner willing to work with him on this. A stay-at-home or work-from-home new owner who would be home with him during the day and could keep him on a schedule would be desired. A securely fenced yard is a requirement for BODE for his safety and enjoyment. He has expressed fear with larger dogs but does enjoy company of small dogs his size. But if he would be the only dog in his new home...he would love getting all the attention from his new owner. A quiet adult home is needed without young children as they scare him. BODE has received the following: fecal check, IDEXX bloodwork with heartworm check, CBC recheck, neuter, dental cleaning, microchip, distemper/lepto (2), bordetella, and rabies vaccinations, and is on heartworm preventative. His adoption fee is $400 and will include a collar, leash, harness, toys, and food. Thank you for wanting to rescue!
