My Story

Move over Bo Derek because you've just been replaced with a new "10". Meet Bo (aka Lobo) our goofy, loveable boy! You better be careful though because once you meet him, you'll melt. He loves people and reminds us of the high school class clown. He's very human oriented, fun, clever and a cuddle buddy. This 5 year old Shepherd/Akita mix weighs in at 60 pounds but like a lean athlete, he weighs more than he looks! He is neutered and microchipped. This character is good with most dogs, but not fond of unneutered males and shouldn’t be trusted around small dogs. In Bo's eyes cats are put on the earth for him to chase so his ideal home must be cat-free. He's also a bundle of energy so a home without small children is recommended. He’s curious about everything. Bo gets 4 paws up for being house trained, crate trained and can be left alone without being destructive. Good for Bo! He could use some positive reinforcing on his leash manners though but with his eagerness to please and ability to learn quickly, this should be relatively easy. And... more positives for Bo is that he crates well (which is great for travelling and if vet stays are necessary!). He is very affectionate and lovey-dovey. He would be best in a home with a secure fenced yard and a calm, consistent owner who would enjoy playing games such as catch and Frisbee to keep this guy from getting bored. Bo is waiting to share his life with someone special. Will it be you?
