Meet Bo! Bo is finally ready for his forever home! Bo was confiscated from his cruel owner for neglect. When he came into the rescue he was malnourished and suffered greatly from mange! He had a raging infection, was anemic, and weak. He was simply defeated. He'd given up. (Intake picture included). While on court-hold, we worked hard to get Bo back to tip-top health. Not only did his body heal, but his spirit also healed. As he got healthier and stronger his sweet personality came back! And as he recovered from the mange, we were surprised to finally see he was a beautiful GSD, inside and out. Bo finally could play and be a dog once again! At trial, Bo's owner was charged with animal cruelty and justice was served! Bo's dog-friendly with laid back canine companions! He is excited to meet new people especially when they have treats for him. He's very food motivated and very smart. Bo now waits for a loving home filled with treats and dog beds for him. He deserves lots of love and to be spoiled so much he forgets he almost died at the hand of the person who was supposed to care for him and keep him safe. Transport arrives in this city every weekend! Bo is about 75lbs and around 7-8 years old! He is up to date on core vaccines, tested for heartworms and 5 diseases spread by ticks including Lyme, is neutered, microchipped and on prevention. Bo's adoption fee is $525. The adoption fee is our main source of funding and is used for vet bills and all related costs associated with transport! There are no additional fees!
