*adopted**Update 12/13/09...Blue just loves all the company that comes to visit at the foster home during the Christmas season. He also likes the smell of the goodies being cooked and is given reminders with his keen scence of smell to stay "off" the chairs and counter surfing while the smell is overwhelming to him. Blue is doing really well with socialization, going outdoors to potty and share the dog toys with other pets. He has learned some new tricks from the female dogs in the house. Mom tells them to "Sit Pretty" and they sit up and beg. Now Blue does the same thing but mom says "Sit Handsome" and he does. There are times he will wave his paws too which is really cute!.....Blue is a male, standard size, Beagle that came to our rescue as the owner had too many pets to care for. As far as Blue's personality, He is 100% Beagle boy, he wants to know where everything is, what it's about and is very enthusiastic about new things. Blue has made great progress in just a short time at being at our foster home based rescue and is working on socializing. house training and leaving the cats alone. He has never lived inside a home and was always kept out doors, so this for him is a major adjustment. He is kept in a kennel crate while the foster family is away and keeps it clean and dry until they return home for potty breaks and in house time. Blue has a great personality and is looking for an energetic family to call his own. Blue will be around other pets and become socialized to bring him to his full potential. Blue is neutered, shots updated, wormed and treated for fleas, and vet checked, His adoption donation is just $75 with all the medical work completed.
