"Blue is the most wonderful Lab!" was the first thing our volunteer said after she met this handsome six year Chocolate boy. Blue has lived with a wonderful, caring family since he was a wee puppy. Their schedules became busier as their family grew and they realized they couldn't give him the attention he needed. They wanted the best for their friend and asked us to help find him a perfect home.
Speaking of perfect . . . Blue is 95 pounds of Lab perfection! A delightfully friendly and well mannered family dog, Blue is housetrained and crate trained. He's happy to shake your paw, and to show off his sit and come when you call. A Gentle Leader is best for walks as this big guy likes to step right out! Blue is happiest when he's around people; he loves everyone and being a big part of the family. He's also a friend to other dogs. Blue has lived with cats and is curious about their feline ways.
Like a true Lab, Blue loves to fetch. He's happy to share his toys and food and enjoys a bath and brushing. A polite companion in the car, he's ready to travel when you are.
Settled, well mannered, playful, very handsome and a friend to all, Blue is all you could hope for in a Lab and best friend. He's looking forward to hanging his leash in his forever home with you very soon!
