Blue is a male Australian CAttle Dog (Blue Heeler) who is estimated at 1-1.5 years of age. Blue appears to be purebred, though there are no guarantees since we were not present at conception. Blue has the typical blue merle markings of a Blue Heeler, with the stand up ears and bobbed tail. He looks like a Blue Heeler, walks like a Heeler, and acts like a Heeler..thus we are calling him a Blue Heeler. He is an exceptionally nice dog. Well-mannered and gets along great with everyone. Blue was thrown out of an out-of-state truck in the shelter driveway, along with a Beagle mix Mom and her 3 pups. This all occurred while the shelter was open nonetheless. Some people have a lot of nerve and no heart! Blue has suffered no ill effects from this terrible treatment. He is just a sweet boy, looking for someone to love!
