My Story

Blondie is a total love bug who just melts when you show her affection. She loves snuggling on the couch and she's in heaven when she gets to sleep in the bed with you. She loves to go along wherever you go - riding well in the car, going for walks off leash along trails, or just hanging out at home playing with her squeaky toys ... but she is also calm and well-behaved when left alone at home.

We estimate that she was born in spring of 2007, and she weighs a comfortable 55 lb. She was found abandoned with another dog in an isolated area in Eastern Washington, and badly in need of vet care. She is now a healthy, happy girl and ready for her forever home.

She gets on well with most other dogs, and lives safely with the two dog-savvy cats in her foster home. She has not been evaluated with children, but we would expect her to prove a good family dog.

By nature Blondie tends to be a tad independent, but she is learning how good it feels to please her human and is responding well to training by her foster mom. We would expect her to do well with a firm and patient owner who is willing to continue working on her basic training.

Blondie is fostered in Seattle, but we will work with approved adopters anywhere in the Pacific Northwest. Like all Mikey's Chance dogs, Blondie comes to you utd on all shots, microchipped and spayed. Her adoption fee of $225 will help offset the cost of her care.
