Meet Blaze. You might think he was named for his lightening speed but like me you would be wrong. He is a friendly, big goofy 5 year old, 85 pound pittie mix who is excited to ”chase” after toys but takes his sweet time getting there. Butt scratches and cuddles are more of his thing than sprints. That is right up our alley. This pup is so affectionate, happy, and playful - sure to put a smile on your face.
Blaze arrived to the shelter as a stray, he sadly was found tied to a tree. He was very briefly adopted (2 days) and while not all family members were on board with a four-legged friend, the notes from his home stay are beyond lovely. The prior family reports that Blaze is relaxed and playful around children, and he lived with children. Given his large size and bounciness when excited, we recommend kids 13+ years old. Blaze spent time with dogs while on walks, and was very tolerant (with any resident dogs we always recommend slow introductions). Blaze lived with a cat, and was very tolerant. What a triple threat!
