She is a bit shy when she meets new people but that is only because she doesn't get to see strangers very often.Once she knows you, she relaxes and is very sweet. Black Pearl gets along well with other dogs and is good with children. She loves to romp in the yard with her canine companions so another dog in the house would be fine. Please consider adding Black Pearl to your family-she is a delightful girl and very well behaved in every respect! UPDATE 2/25/07-I was adopted over Christmas but after several months with my new family, I was brought back to the rescue. My adoptive dad wanted to keep me but my adoptive mom decided she didn't so to prevent any problems I am now back at the rescue. I am just as sweet as I can be and I am HOUSETRAINED and CRATETRAINED. I am SPAYED, UTD with my VACC and MICROCHIPPED. I had developed demodex ( I AM CLEARED UP NOW & MY COAT IS COMPLETELY REGROWN)while at my adoptive home but I was not contagious and I was easily treated. I had a mild case. I started treatment at my adoptive home and the rescue continued my treatment. My name at the rescue was "Black Pearl" but my adoptive family changed it to "Sasha". I am not really picky about my name just as long as I can have a family to love me forever! Oh, I am alittle over a year old now old now and I probably weigh about 45-50 pounds so I am medium sized.
