Bitzie is a big girl with lots of love to give! She came in to the shelter about 30 pounds overweight and has since lost quite a bit of weight, which still leaves her at a hefty size. Her leash manners have improved greatly due to our volunteers and she loves to walk in the park. Bitzie does not seem to get along well with most other dogs. She also has food and toy aggression, and is very possessive of anything she has in her mouth. Staff is working with Bitzie on her toy aggression currently and we have seen an improvement. Bitzies food aggression is more complicated and would require quite a bit of training to make an improvement. Bitzie would be best for someone who is experienced with her breed and is willing to be paitent with her. Bitzie would also be best in a house with no other pets or small children.
