We just welcomed this sweet female pocket pittie who is a young senior at 8 years old and 18 lbs - Birdie - isn't she precious?!! She was found as a stray eating birdseed, hence her name, poor darling.
Update from foster mom:
"Welcome Birdie! She's perfect! 18lb pocket pitty, tiny girl! She was found a stray in Calvert County eating bird seed (hence the name)! She's Lyme and antiplasmosis positive, definitely had a litter or 2, slightly emaciated, her bones hurt, and she needs some peace and rest. She's great w my 3 small dogs, my 6yr old, and not even food aggressive. Gentle as a lamb. This sweetie needs some time, respite, and medical care...but she has a spark! I can already tell She's going to be a great companion!"
