There was a farmer who had a dog and Bingo was his name-O!!!! Actually our sweet Bingo wishes this was the case, Bingo is about 8 mos old and has spent almost his entire life in a kill shelter in Arkansas. He was brought in as a 2 mos old stray and since that day has never been out of his small run area. He is so sweet and deserves a chance to run and see the ocean. He loves people, other dogs, and just has a wonderful, loving nature. Because he is a black dog, he was doomed from the start, but the shelter staff liked him so much they kept him around, but so much time went by and of course, noone wanted him, so they finally had to make the tough decision to put him down to make space for others. He was going to be euthanized yesterday, but literally at the last minute a kind volunteer pulled him out of the shelter right before he was going to take that long walk down the hall. She said he was just TOO nice to let that happen to and was worth saving. So he is at her house, but still in an outdoor pen just waiting to run and play and sleep on a dog bed for the first time. She can't bring him in, as she has about 20 dogs there waiting for homes. Bingo is heartworm negative and probably mostly lab, maybe some Australian Shep or Border Collie. He has BEAUTIFUL brown eyes and touches of brown highlights in his face and legs which come out in the sun. And has some purple spots on his tongue which is common in labs down there. Many full-blooded labs have solid purple tongues.
