My Story

THIS PUP HAS BEEN SPONSORED AND NAMED BILLY BY KRISTEN JOHNSON IN HONOR OF BILL BOKUS. THANKS KRISTEN!

Hi! My name's Billy. I hope I don't sound immodest but aren't I the cutest thing? I'm so cute the Puppy Bowl people wanted me on their show! My five brothers and sisters have all been adopted and I'm really happy to have my mommy Dahlia all to myself - more milk for me! She and I are best buddies, we run around the back yard together and snuggle up together at night. But my foster family's dog and cat are teasing me and calling me a Momma's Boy so I think it's time to find my own people. My foster mom says I'm as sweet as can be and am going to make some family very very happy. I love everyone I meet, even cats! Visit Dahlia's petfinder page to read more about her.

The adoption fee for these puppies is $250, which covers the cost of routine vet care. Some of our puppies may qualify for an early spay or neuter, in that case the fee would then be $350.

Can't adopt but want to help? Please contact [email protected] to find out about sponsorship, fostering, and other ways you can help this animal! Please note that financial sponsorship will be applied to the specific animal you indicate unless it is not needed, at which time we will let you designate it for another HT animal of your choice.

You can save animals like Dahlia by becoming a foster! Fosters are like way stations between high kill shelters and forever homes. We need fosters so that we can save dogs before they are euthanized at the shelters, so that they have more time to find a permanent family. If you are interested in becoming a foster, please click here and email the questionnaire to [email protected].
