CONGRATULATIONS TO OSCAR'S NEW PACK!!! Just look at the smile on this boy's face! Billy has reason to smile since his life was spared - - he had been brought in by Animal Control to be put down at the vets' to make room for new strays, but everyone at the vets' office fell in love with him and couldn't bear the thought of making that his last day on earth. So Billy was brought to a low-kill shelter where he is remaining calm with the faith that someone will adopt him before his time is up again. Billy sponges up attention and is very smart and very well-mannered so we know he'll make a great family dog. He's got an easy-going temperament that's happy to play along with other dogs, but has a moderate energy level that is just as content to soak up the sun! With his scruffy fur we have no idea what Billy's true mix is, but he is only about 30 pounds - - just on the smaller side of medium - - and about 10 months old.
