Billy

My name is Billy. I had a very rough start in life. 6 of us puppies were found starving and very very sick in Red Lake MN. A very kind person found us and too us to Red Lake Rosie Rescue. There we were given good food and medicines to make us much better. Once things looked good for us, 5 of us were sent all the way to Madison WI to find our forever homes.

I was probably born around Feb 15th. I am smaller than the other puppies, so I may stay around the 50 lbs area once I am full grown. When I was in MN, I got picked on a lot by the other puppies because I was the smallest. But one of the dogs here at the foster home has taught me how to have enough self confidence to let the bigger puppies know I don't like it. Now we all can play rough and tumble and no one gets the upper hand. I am good with all the dogs here and the cats seem to like me too. I enjoy children when I have the chance to see them. They seem so happy. I am also a very social puppy. I love everyone who gives me a little bit of attention.

I do great in the crate. Sometimes I cry out cuz I want to stay up later-but I settle down right away. I don't mess in my crate--and I am doing really well with house breaking! My foster home is teaching me "COME" and "SIT". When I have those mastered we will move on to DOWN. I like training--it gives me a fun thing to do with my foster family.

I am great off leash--I don't run off and I come when I am called. I need to get use to the leash yet, It's getting better every day.

$250.00: Puppies under 6 months
$250.00: Dogs under 30 pounds
$175.00: Dogs over 30 pounds, over 6 months
There will be a $50.00 refund with proof of obedience class.

Adoption fee includes: microchipping, spay/neuter, initial vaccinations including rabies if age appropriate, HW testing for adult dogs over 6 months and deworming, HW preventative and flea/tick preventative while in rescue. ARVSS encourages adoptors to visit their own vet as soon as possible after the adoption.
