Billy

I know!! Can you believe how cute Billy is? This sweet, sweet little guy was rescued from a high kill shelter. When we got him, he was filthy, covered with fleas and in generally pretty pitiful condition. A few good meals and a couple of baths later, we discovered this precious angel lurking beneath the bad stuff. He weighs 4 pounds. Billy is very people oriented and loves to be by his foster mom every chance he gets. He isn't too interested in hanging with the other chihuahuas but respects the alpha dog appropriately - he'd be fine as an only dog. Billy will not go outside in the rain but likes to bask in the sun. He loves chewies, is good in the car and he's ok on leash but not crazy about it. He also isn't keen on playing with toys. Billy gets very excited when it's time to eat. He eats kibble with some canned food mixed in. As soon as he hears the can opener, he starts 'singing' in anticipation. Billy has a heart murmur and congestive heart failure which is well controlled with lasix and enalapril daily. We realize that Billy may not be adopted but are hoping that his adorable face might just win a few hearts and maybe a Best Friend or two. The adoption fee for Billy is $200. Each of our dogs is up to date on all shots, including rabies, spayed or neutered, microchipped, fecal tested for internal parasites, treated if necessary, tested for heartworm, treated if necessary, on heartworm preventative and we also take care of dentals or any other medical needs they may have. With your dog, you will receive a health booklet detailing everything that we have done to be sure that they are in the best of health and all spiffed up to be your treasured pet.
