Meet "Big Max"! This BIG LOVE is a 2 1/2 year old Lab/Chow Mix weighing 87 lbs. He was left at the city pound because he was "too big" His foster family has this to say- Max is a "GENTLE GIANT" who loves to play and enjoys his "free run" in the yard. His activity level is normal/medium and he knows his basic commands. Max walks well on leash, has normal curiosity towards cats and gets along well with other dogs, especially the foster puppies. He lets them crawl all over him. He has been tested with children ages 3-16 and does well. If this sweet boy is right for your home please apply for him today. His adoption fee is $375.

We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. THERE IS NO SPECIFIC SHELTER LOCATION. If you wish to meet our dogs, you must first be approved by going through our application and screening process.
Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Also, any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the south and will prefer to "do their business" outdoors.
