Was found as a stray with a microchip, but owners never came to pick her up. It was suspected she was abandoned. She was pending euthanization at the South Carolina North Augusta Pound due to lack of space - for over a month. Coming Back Home Rescue claimed her on her final moments.
Betsy Ross is friendly, sweet, and laid-back. At this time, Betsy Ross is weary of others but approachable. This is likely due to her history. New handlers should be calm and reassuring. Once she opens up, you'll realize she just wants to be comforted
