Bessie is a 6 1/2 year old Black lab who is typical of that breed. At rest, she's content to lay around, watch the world go by and just be plain lazy. But at play, she's active and full of energy. She's very social, leash trained and knows the sit command. She is housetrained and very sweet with all people. She would also likely be fine with cats. Bessie's adoption fee is $300.

We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. THERE IS NO SPECIFIC SHELTER LOCATION. If you wish to meet our dogs, you must first be approved by going through our application and screening process. Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. If you are approved to adopt, please submit the $100 deposit here: STOP! If you have not been notified of your approval status do not make a deposit.
