My Story

Berrie is such a handsome and sweet boy!!!  A good samaritan contacted A Dog's Life Rescue when he noticed there was a dog living in a crawl space under his apartment building.  This poor boy was living off of Berries and scraps (which is how he got the name Berrie).  The good samaritan said he thinks Berrie had been there for a couple of months and was probably dumped by a neighbor when they moved.  He started feeding Berrie and gaining his trust but Berrie was so terrified of people that it took us two weeks to catch him.  He was emaciated and had sores from his living condition but with some vet care and good TLC Berrie is now a healthy boy:)  Berrie is still shy but is full of love.  He comes up and gives lots of kisses and wags his tail, so excited to see you! Berrie does not have a mean bone in his body...  he is such a love and once he knows you he is goofy and playful!  Berrie needs a calm home so probably no small children.  He wouldn't hurt a fly but we don't want him to be over-whelmed.  If you are looking for a adorable, sweet and playful new companion and are interested in meeting Berrie, please contact us at:  [email protected]
