Bernard was minding his own business trying to make it church for service one Sunday when a lady realized that he had no home and picked him up. He was running late that day and didn’t arrive for church until after it was over - thank goodness (since he was going in to pray for a home). All efforts to find his owner were unsuccessful, so he is now looking for a new, permanent home. Bernard is a male Terrier/Chihuahua mix born approximately 3/09. He is up to date on shots, neutered and tested negative for heartworms. He gets along with other dogs and cats and loves to play. If you adopt Bernard, he promises to say his prays before eating and bed each day. Since he was homeless, he has learned how to pray really well, and it seems to be paying off.
