Bentley is an awesome little boy. He has the coat of a schnauzer and the body of a lhasa. Bentley will require regular professional grooming to keep him healthy and happy.
Bentley came from a home that acquired several pit bulls. The pits began to bully Bentley so he is leery of large dogs. He is also a little timid with strangers, but will warm up with minimal kindness. Once he trusts, Benltey is just about as perfect as you can ask any dog to be! He is housetrained, uses the doggie door with ease, great with other small dogs, will chase a cat only if the cat runs - but is not dangerous; just playful. Bentley prefers to have his own bed on the floor beside your bed and has excellent house manners. Rides in a car and walks on a leash too. No homes with small children or large dogs, please. A fenced yard or a regular walking/exercise routine is required.
Bently is about 2 - 3 yrs old, weighs about 15 lbs, and is fully vetted and recently groomed! All he needs is his own home!

All adoptions begin with completing the online application found at:

Vet, personal, and groomer (if applicable) references will be required and will be checked.
WHAT IS THE ADOPTION FEE?
Adoption fees differ from dog to dog and are non-negotiable. We accept CASH ONLY. Fees cover the vet care, quality food, and medications necessary to care for the dog while in our foster home. We are volunteers - no paid employees here! Fees and donations are the only means to support our continuing rescue efforts. Adoption fees are non-negotiable.

DO YOU ADOPT OUT OF STATE?
Yes, when it is the best home for the dog. Transportation arrangements and costs are the responsibility of the adopter in addition to the adoption fee. PLEASE NOTE: WE WILL NOT TRANSPORT AIR FREIGHT PUPPIES YOUNGER THAN 6 MONTHS OR SMALLER THAN 8 LBS. YOU MUST PICK UP THESE PUPPIES.
