Bentley has had a hard life in only one year. He was turned over to the Nebraska Humane Society in early 2007. Additionally, we found out from an NHS volunteer that he had a broken leg when he was younger at his first home. After a few days Bentley was adopted out of NHS, and went to a home who kept him for 3 months. They realized that they didn't know the amount of attention and maintenance of Italian Greyhounds and decided to turn him over to IG Rescue so he can go to a home who is prepared to accept him in to their home. Bentely did come from a home originally who had children, but we are not sure if he has been exposed to cats or other animals.
Bentley is a fun-loving little guy who is about one year of age. He loves to run and play with the other dogs, but likes attention from people also. He absolutely LOVES squeaky toys. Bentley was already fixed when he came in to rescue, and his potty habits are very good compared to most. He is up-to-date on shots, and heartworm negative. Bentley has now also been given a rabies shot since he has been in rescue.
