My Story

Hey there westie lovers!! Bentley here!! My pictures don’t quite do me justice but I am one good looking little dude. Little is the operative word here. I weigh only about 12 lbs and I am soooo cute!! I am happy ALL the time as you can see by my picture and I love everyone!! I play well alone or with others and I love my toys! I am housebroken and I don’t tear up things. I do have a little separation anxiety so you can’t leave me in a crate or lock me in one room of the house because I will scratch on the door. If you leave me loose in the house I don’t mess up a thing and I don’t leave any accidents! I am 2 years old and in good health. I don’t exactly come whole though because when I was born I wasn’t finished “cooking” yet. My hearing and vision weren’t quite developed when I was born so I have a hard time hearing and my vision isn’t the best in the world. I can see but my depth perception and peripheral vision is off somewhat. Sometimes I run right past you and have to back up and unless you are in front of me talking to me my hearing isn’t the best in the world. However those little problems certainly don’t slow me down and it doesn’t keep me from being the sweetest, cutest, little dude going. The girls all love me because I am so much fun and really sweet. I am very happy in my foster home but prefer to have a home of my own. If you are gone a lot I need a friend to keep me company and make sure that I get around OK. If my human is home all the time then I don’t need a friend just you! Please consider giving me a home you won’t be sorry! I am fostered in the OKC area and am waiting patiently for you to come and get me.

Bentley’s hearing and vision have both been checked by our vets. There are no current physical problems with either, the lack of both vision and hearing are just birth defects that he was born with. He is well adjusted and should not suffer any future problems with either. He does hear and see, there are just limitations to his hearing and vision. Neither keep him from being a wonderful pet and companion.
